Cancellation/ No Show Policy

Sometimes the unexpected happens and an appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.  In December 2021, I had 43 cancellations. Every person had a good reason, the problem is I can’t pay my rent with those good reasons.

As a small business, 100% of my income and the wages for my colleague comes from my valued clients (that’s you!). When you cancel on short notice (within 24 hours), my livelihood is impacted, and it means that someone else misses out on a much needed massage.

Because more than a third of December’s bookings were made up of missed or cancelled appointments, we will be making some changes to our cancellation policy.

We now have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, for any reason, you’ll be charged a $50 cancellation fee.  Whether it’s your first offence, an injury, emergency or pandemic… you must pay the $50 cancellation fee.

The only exception- if you fill your spot, the fee will be waived!

Think of your appt like a circus ticket. If you can’t make it, what do you do? You either give your ticket to a friend, or absorb the cost.  Your massage appointment is no different, the show must go on.

What if the roles were reversed? If we cancel last minute (within 24 hours) for you, then we’ll do the same thing. You’ll get $50 off your next appointment.
